We provide tutoring services for students between the ages of 7 and 16. Lessons are for KS2, KS3 and GCSEs in Maths, English, Sciences, Geography and more including special courses for grammar and independent school entrance exams (7+, 11+ and 13+). Current specialised classes include:

  • 11plus prep: Maths: Arithmetics, Geometry, Algebra etc

  • 11plus prep: English: Comprehension, Creative Writing, Cloze, SPaG, Synonyms and Antonyms

  • 11plus Verbal Reasoning: Vocab problems (Synonyms & Antonyms) and number problems

  • 11plus Non-Verbal Reasoning: Pictures, Patterns, Sequences, Reflection/Rotations and more!

  • KS2 (Year 6) SATs preparation

  • GCSE Biology

  • GCSE Chemistry

  • GCSE Physics

  • GCSE Mathematics

 

Other classes available include beginners level chess and non-competitive chess groups.

 

Lessons are 1 hour or 2 hours long and are on a weekly basis (varies upon request and availability to suit your needs). Classes contain homework support, teaching of content and past papers. Times can be chosen according to your convenience.

Smart Study Tuition is an online tuition service based in London. What makes us different from other tuition agencies is that we offer both teaching pupils one-on-one as well as we through small groups. So parents and pupils can chose to learn through individual, highly-focused personal tutoring or by joining one of our weekly subject-specific groups where pupils can learn not only from their interactions with the tutor but also from each other. This will help the children develop their skill sets such as communication and teamwork to prepare them for both exams and also for a future in the workforce.

Reviewing for the Exam

We offer primary school and secondary school preparation in various core and optional subjects including SATS, 11+, GCSE and A-Levels subjects. Upon availability and request, lessons can be held on a weekly basis and last between 1-2 hours.  Lessons are tailored to fit the needs and requirements of each student and can be held in the form of 1 to 1 sessions or take a group setting.

We prepare for a variety of exams including: 

Primary school: 11PLUS Entrance Exams and SATS

  • GL, CEM, SET, CSSE and Independent (Private) schools

  • Year 4 and 5 tutoring

  • Standard questions and MCQ style exam preparation

  • We offer both group and 1-to-1 classes

  • Mathematics, English, Verbal/Non-Verbal Reasoning lessons

  • English lessons include creative writing guide and practice

  • Our regular progress tests and parent feedback help parents keep track of how their child is doing and what they need to work on.


Secondary school: KS3 and GCSE Exams

  • Edexcel, AQA, OCR, WJEC, IGCSE

  • Subjects include: Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics lessons

  • We offer both group and 1-to-1 classes

  • We set weekly homework so that pupils can develop their understanding and revise independently too.

  • Our regular progress tests and parent feedback help parents keep track of how their child is doing and what they need to work on.

Here are the steps to become a tutor at Smart Study Tuition

  1. Chose between: 11PLUS Maths, English(urgent vacancies) KS2 SATS and Secondary (KS3 & GCSE) 
    Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and more.

  2. Show your interest and apply by sending us your CV and cover letter at smartstudytuition.info@gmail.com (make sure to include your tutoring subject, where you are based, all relevant qualifications and experiences)

  3. Applicants will be shortlisted and will receive a call by a member of our team and our applicant pack through email.

  4. If successful you will be invited for an interview. (Steps after will be discussed in the interview)
